Updating entourage

Both Office 2004 and Office 2008 are End of Life applications. Office 2004 will run under Snow Leopard and older OS X versions only. This means they are not longer supported and will receive no updates or fixes. We see many users that upgrade to Mavericks and find out that their Entourage data does not import or they need to re-install to get Entourage working properly. The advantage is that the package is fairly automated. If you prefer the faster download option, and have Entourage 12, follow the manual update instructions in the section titled Manually Updating Entourage.First, you will need to upgrade your Entourage to 12.2.5 and then to 13.Hint: in the event that your email does not update, it may be necessary to change the Exchange server to "https://mail.middlebury.edu" in the account settings. - double-click the Middlebury account - Advanced tab - Exchange server field.See the next section to find the Entourage version number. If you have Entourage Version 13 or higher, no further action needs to be taken. If your version of Entourage is less than 13 (if you have Entourage 2004 or Entourage 12.0.0 to 12.2.6) then you have two choices: In a few steps, the combo package will install the latest version of Office 2008 and Entourage 13.
You can also connect Entourage for Mac OS X to your account using POP3 or IMAP4, but you won’t get all the features that are available with Entourage 2008, Web Services Edition.
For more information, see Access your account using a Mac.
If you’re connecting to your Office 365 email, you don’t need to look up your settings.
The POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP server name and other settings you may need to enter are listed on the Settings for POP and IMAP access page under POP setting or IMAP setting, and SMTP setting.
Microsoft has released the Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac 12.3.6 Update. After changing, click OK, enter password of needed, and check again for updated mail and mail folders.
